Johan Grimonprez (Belgium), is exhibiting his critically acclaimed film on airplane hijacking and terrorism as recorded during the past 30 years. A student of the School of Visual Arts and the Whitney Museum Independent6 Study Program in New York, Mr. Grimonprez' work has been presented internationally, including Documenta X in Kassel, Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, Deitch Projects in New York, the Stedelijk Museum in Ghent, and the Anthony d'Offay Gallery in London. Most recently, he exhibited at the Santa Monica Museum of Art. Currently, he is involved in a project on the history of film endings and the zapping behavior employed with the television remote control.
